Fever Discotheque Grand Opening
Fever Discotheque Grand Opening

reviews

It seems it wasn’t only the heavens that opened on Saturday night as Flirt-Pattaya attended the Grand Opening of FEVER DISCOTHEQUE located on The Walking Street.
For those that are scratching your heads as to where in Walking St it is then think of slightly past the small McDonalds booth and a previous incarnation of “Pulse” nighclub which didn’t last long.
The bad news is the location. It’s that bit too far to grab the hordes from 808, Lucifer and Insomnia but not popular enough to steal patrons of Mixx etc located at the other end.
The good news is that inside it’s a stonking venue. Firstly it’s big and airy and doesn’t have the cramped feel that you get sometimes in The Pier when it’s full. The layout is almost identical to an old, now closed, nightlife joint called Xzyte Disco. They have a huge stage area for live bands and/or cheesy drag comedy acts taunting foreigners for short-time money. Very Benny Hill or Dick Emery stylee.
On this evening the place did eventually start to fill up after the massive surge of water drained away from inpassable Walking st. The escalators take you right into the main arena so easy access and an instant atmosphere hits you right away. They have an upstairs VIP seating area as well as an outside restuarant pier overlooking the famous Pattaya sign.
The main arena has the standard stool and high table layout all set around the lighting technician booth and they even have a small dance floor area upfront. The sound system is good too and the DJ had the floor filling up nicely whilst the management had laid on free drinks to all ladies who came to check out the place.
Festivites included the aforementioned “Suzie” drag show, sexy tight trousered dancers and even a belly dance show as well as the resident thai band singing all the popular Thai and foreign songs.
Flirt-Pattaya wish the management all the best success for the up and coming high season and with the right promotion and marketing this place might give the other nightclubs a run for their money. We reckon the Thai holiday makers will love it.
