Songkran Festival of Pattaya and Chonburi is distinctively called “Wan Lai”, taking place a week later than the rest of Thailand — from 18 to 20 April 2014. The festival lines up with interesting events that will keep you occupied all day long, from offering food to monks, pouring scented water on Buddha images, to building sand pagodas on the beach. If you want to have fun, we recommend you to join the flock of travellers at Bang Saen Beach, Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach.
